Anthony Blatter is a native of St Louis MO, but now resides in Boca Raton FL as a second year MFA candidate at Florida Atlantic University and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Missouri. He is a professional artist who does work in vocal coaching and theatre teaching. He currently works at Broadway Bound Academy as a voice teacher for kids, serves as the bass staff singer at St. Gregory’s Episcopal church and runs his own voice studio in his copious amounts of free time. Anthony is a nationally recognized musical theatre singer winning both the National Association of Teachers of Singing musical theatre vocal competition in 2018, and the John Alexander National Vocal Competition’s musical theatre section in 2021. Opera credits include Figaro in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Falstaff in Verdi’s Falstaff, and Sarastro in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Other credits include Booker T. Washington in Ragtime, King Julien in Madagascar the Musical, Flick in Violet, Brucie in Sweat, Roger Hopewell in MCM1940, Wangel in The Lady from the Sea, and Francis from One Man, Two Guvnors. Anthony spends his free time reading history and tending to his adorable cat, Roger.
